Question
Hello, I live in slight Northern california, the area around San Jose, up in the hills. Occasionally I find rattlesnakes at my house, and I relocate them into the hills. The hills are very dry and hot, and I dont know if the snake can survive in that environment. Where should I put these rattlesnakes? What kind of environment do they need? Im afraid that I am putting them in the wrong place. Please help me with some information. Thankyou.

Answer
Stephanie,

Rattlesnakes prefer to be in a high ground where it's cooler..

Like up in the mountians in a din of rocks. That's where they need to hide and rest, to stay cool from the hot sun.
That's the best place where you should relocate the rattlesnakes you have found by your house.

I hope this helps.

Thanks1 If there's any other questions. Please contact me again.

Sincerely Yours,

Cece Ericson
