Question Hello..my 4 year old son and I caught two rock lizards(I think) this spring. They've been doing great, then this morning SURPRISE!!! We have three baby lizards, is there anything special to do for them? And how soon can they leave there mother?? Thank you~ Kasey M.
Answer You got babies?! Thats great! Wow usually wild caught lizards don't do well in captivity. Just feed them little little crickets. They won't eat ANYTHING until their first shed though. (they eat their first shedded skin)Usually people take the babies away as soon as the eggs are laid because the parents will kill them. So anytime you want. They mothers don't exactly nuture their young. Anything else just ask. Have fun raising your young'ns!
