Answer Hi Banks,
There are 2 contenders for the honor of being the worlds largest snake. They are, Green Anaconda and the Reticulated Python. Anacondas are huge heavy massive bodied long snakes. Retics are very long, longer than Anacondas but are fairly thin, light bodied, compared to Anacondas. So, is it weight or is it length? I have over the years owned and kept both of these and it's a tough choice. I tend to go with the Anaconda for massive brute strength, massive and robust heavy body plus the length. There is much debate over this and will continue. It's a very close call. You decide. thanks. Edmund Brown [ReptileEd]
