I can answer most questions on Leopard Geckos and if I don`t know I will find out and answer it for you. I have one my self and have found some very good facts most new leopard gecko owners don`t know and freak out about. Keep in mind I am not a vet but I can find one to ask.

Question
Hi
My daughter is caring for her cousin's gecko.  It is the same age as her own but is half the size.  The legs on this poor thing is toothpick small and so is her tail.  It has a hard time staying awake and is forever in the water bowl.  We are handfeeding it some reptile boost 3 to 4 times daily.  Is there any hope for this poor little thing and if so what can we do.
thank you   Diane

Answer
Hi,
Well there is hope for everything its just knowing what to do.  Feed him live crickets I'm not sure what reptile boost's are but crickets contain a lot of protein.  Which is what he needs.  He also need some fat so feed him super worms.  You also don't want to mess with him like try to play with him or anything also you may want to just let him sleep for a day and then feed him something the next morning.  You may need to go to a vet.  And on a personal note knock some sence into her cousin.  And inform him of how you've been taking care of your leopard gecko and urge him to follow your example.
Hope this helps,
Tyler F.
