Question Is there a way Commercial Property Managers can obtain a lock box key- the board has denied our request but continues to give unlicenced home inspectors lock box keys. Our Commercial property manager needs one to access many of the properties
Answer If you're referring to the Board of Realtors/ your local MLS, you normally have to be a member to receive a key (the same is true for most other similar organizations). If it's a private lockbox, I suppose the owner can choose whether or not to give keys -- although if it's in their best interest to do so (for instance, to makes sales or leasing easier), then they usually wouldn't deny that.
