Question
Is there anything to keep myself from getting bronchitis, seems every time weather changes I have problems breathing and end up with bronchitis. Also my son is 3 and has constant ear infections, we have already done tubes which have fallen out. My son is constantly on antibiotics and I'm afraid for my sons immune system when he gets older. He is taking Zyrtec for allergies now but I don't notice any difference. We are in doctor's office every two weeks almost with ear infections. Don't know what else to do.

Answer
Three things can be done for your immune system:

The biggest is stay away from cigarette smoke - especially for bronchitis for you and ear infections in Your son.

Number two is eat and balanced diet, including fruits and vegetables. Maybe take a multivitamin each day.

Number three is get some moderate exercise like walking for 15 -20 minutes a day (You might want to clear this with your doctor first). Stress also plays a part in immune system function, but is difficult to control.
