Question I have been around saw dust, insulation and dust most of my life. My pop was a carpentar. Now I have great difficulty breathing through my nose whenever I am around dust. My lungs are fine I just can't hardly breath through my nose. I feel like I am suffocating at times. Is there any kind of surgery I can get to fix my breathing problems???
Answer Dear Clint,
There are surgical interventions for your problem. We call them a roto-rooter surgery. You might try breathe right strips that attached to the outside of your nose and expand the nasal passages. Decongestant nose drops might help but are not recommended for longterm use. A nasal steroid would probably help and is available via prescription. If over the counter remedies don't work it sounds like you need to consult a physician. Good luck and thanks for writing.
Peace,
Richard
