Question
Hi, I have. Normal healthy 4 year old. She had her the pulse of oxygen reading at a recent doctor visit and it was 96. I asked the doctor and nurse if that was normal, both said yes, their cut off for concern  was  94. My question is what are your thoughts, she is fine with no health problems. Should I follow up or be concerned? Thanks so much
Heidi

Answer
There is nothing to be concerned with. Really anything in the 90's is fine. Normal healty people will flucuate depending on what's going on. If you were to check her while she is sleeping it would be in the low 90's and that is compleatly normal, we all drop a little when we sleep because we are not taking as big a breath as when we are awake.
