Question Hi, do you think the air purifier on the market today really do what they advertised? Recently i am interested in buying a product call the ionic pro air purifier that suppose to clean the air without any filter. I really appreciate if you can give me your opinion on whether i should spend the money, thanks.
i have problem with congested and stuffy nose in the morning and my room is easy to get dusty.
Answer The products that I know will work are units with a HEPA type filter. You can buy these for a central unit, but a stand alone unit for one room seems to work the best. I would find one with a washable filter and a capacity equal to your room size. Anything more than this is a risky investment. I would seek medical attention for symptoms or use other techniques to keep the room "clean". You might get some ideas from some allergy web sites like allergy.com or some similar site.
