Question
good day!!
what will be the effect if i still continue to use the expired Albuterol Inhalation Aerosol spray (17 grams).?

Answer
Hi Ron,

First of all, I'd like to appologize for the delay. I worked all weekend, and we were very busy, so it was hard to find the time to answer your question. I have no idea what the effect would be. I only deal with new inhalers here in the hospital. I spoke with our hospital pharmacist and they didn't know either. They recommended that you do not use expired medication because (and they were guessing here) you can have less potencey, or even a change in Ph. You should probably either call your doctor or pharmacist and ask them the same question. They should have reference materials and access to the pharmacutical compnay to be able to better answer your question.

I'm sorry that I couldn't be of more help, Sue Enlow
