Question i have severe facial flushing when i drink alcohol and i read an article on a health webiste that suggested taking a antihistamine before drinking to reduce facial flsuhing, but on the labels of antihistamines it says to not consume alcohol while taking this product? im confused..so can i take it and wait a few hours or should i not take the antihistamine at all? would aspirin be better?
Answer I sure can't go against a warning label. Especially on this topic. I just don't know the answer.
Personally, I would just skip the alcohol. Alcohol is not necessary and it has quite a few risks: addiction, liver damage, driving/accidents. It also increases the risks of picking up other habits like drugs and smoking. If you drink for social reasons, try drinking a non-alcohol drink. I have made this choice before and nobody noticed.
