Question
 Hello, I am a nurse and understand the condition however I have had six or more of these in the past four years.They have only been about 15% all right apex area and my pulmonologist treats these with home O2.These episodes have occured during my period do you have any info on this? I'm not sure of the spelling but it sounds like pneumocatemenia.All my Dr. could tell me was that it was similar to endometriosis.Thank you

Sorry for the delay in answering your question, I have been out of town.

I have not read much about the occurance of spontaneous pneunothorax. We only cover a small amount in my class. I did a little internet searching and found some information that you might find helpful. Here are the links:
