Question QUESTION: Hello:
I'd like to know how I can emphasize the college courses I have taken related to the internship I am seeking and not the work experience that is unrelated to the internship work.
Thanks.
ANSWER: Dear Demetrius:
You can start off the resume by listing your educational background and a short listing of the college courses. Include your GPA if above a 3.4 and any honors, professional associations, etc. Then list your internship experience and place your emphasis upon this, giving a detailed description of what you do. Then, list your other experience, but downplay it. If this is not clear, write back. Warmly, R. Butler

QUESTION: My GPA is 3.2. I have not had an internship.(Don't include GPA?) The internship for editing for the college publication asked for a resume and a short letter. I have done well in college writing and a news editing course.
Thanks.
ANSWER: Dear Demetrius:
You can mention the 3.2 if you'd like. Or, if you achieved Dean's List status state that instead of the actual GPA. Warmly, R. Butler
