Question My sister is 63 and looking ahead to plan for an early retirement. She is not sure who to talk to and get information from regarding such a thing and I have no ideas on who to tell her to talk to. I am hoping you can point me in the right direction. Where shoudl I go to talk to someone about this? Thank you in advance for your assistance!
Richard
Answer Hi Richard,
I guess it would really depend on the amount of assets she has and how complicated her needs may be. If she feels that she needs to do some comprehensive planning, she would probably be best suited to an advisor who works with both insurance and investments. They are usually better equipped to look at the complete picture as she may have many areas to address.
On the other hand, if she just had a small 401k to rollover and not much else, her needs for advise would be much simpler.
If you would like to tell me more about her situation, I may be able to point you in a more specific direction. My email is below.
