Should the RMD be calculated on $80k and not $90k?  If $90k is indeed correct, could you please show how you arrived at that figure?

Hi Richard,
I just reviewed the question you are referring too. It appears I made a mistake when answering it. The amount in my example would be $80k. I can't believe I didn't catch that. Sorry for any inconvenience. The amount over the cost basis of $10k would be added to the $70k in the deductible portion.
