Subject: Acute pain in thumbs

Question
I have had severe pain in my thumbs for several years.  I find myself unable to do simple tasks such as opening cans, jars and ziploc bags.

Answer
Ginnette,

I am sorry to hear about your pain. I do not see a specific question here.

I hope you have seen a doctor about this. There are several things that can cause this type of pain in your thumbs and most are very treatable.

I wish you the best of health

Rusty
