Subject: weather and fibromyalgia

Question
Dear Sir,  do you have any statistics on whether  moving to a warmer place like New Mexico or Arizona from Washington State.  Some people i have heard seem to have some some success as far as pain and energy.  I have had fibromyalgia and arthritis diagnosed in December 1995?  We don't get much sunshine except in the summer in WA.  Thanks for your help.  Nancy

Answer
Nancy,

Here is an great article about fibromyalgia and weather. It should answer your questions.

I live in Washington state as well. One of the things I have found that helps a lot is full spectrum lighting. I spend a lot of time here in my office and installed it here several years ago. It has made a big difference in my life.

I wish you the best

Rusty
