Hi Karen, I first started with pain in my left leg, hip, calves, thigh, foot, and my toes went numb. I was diagnosed with siatica, but the pain got worse after a month, I couldn't move. Like you, the pain was so bad I wanted to die. I had an x ray, showed the 2 lower discs were degenerative, which I was told is very common. Then went for an M R I, I was told I have arthritis in my back. I am going to the doctor tomorrow to find out how to treat this. I feel for you, I know that pain, and it is the worse thing in the world.

Hi Karen
I cant sleep and happen to be on the Internet looking for answers because I seem to be suffering from something very similar and was also told it was muscular because nothing showed up in my x-ray or mri. The pain in my lower back and the back of my hips is sooo bad I cant function withput pain medication, which has been stopped by my doctor. He seems to think I'm making it all up. I too im a mother...of a ten month old. And I'm devestated and dont know what to do.

Hello, I too am having problems like this. I have been going to a pain clinic and have been on Hydrocodone for the pain for a few years now. I have had the injections, physical therapy and was told that it wasnt' Arthritis as that would have shown up in an MRI and X-rays. I was told that this is common in women my age. I would like to have answers to this problem also.
