How to Make the Right Move/Give up?

Question
I recently became interested in a boy that my bestfriend (JD), his girlfriend (Sara) and I had met for about twenty minutes one night during a power outage. We're all 19. We had set up a casual dinner and the four of us ended up going out to a movie and hanging out in my room till around 2 in the morning. JD and Sara left, and boy left about ten minutes later. Two days later, I called him to ask him out. He didn't answer, and seeing as it was the first time I ever asked someone out, I panicked and left a message. He hasn't called me back. It's been two days.  JD and Sara went to dinner with him tonight (I had a choir concert). He mentioned to them that that he just got out of a year long relationship because it was going to become long distance (leaving high school).

Now what? Just forget it? Hang out with him and bide my time? I'm honestly not too upset, but if you think I would have a chance... What do you think?

Answer
Him getting out of a relationship is just an excuse.  Men highly interested in a woman will leave jobs, families, and lives for a woman who "HAS IT" ... part of the key for you is to forget focusing on this one guy.  You need to focus on what will make ALANA the sexiest woman alive.  If you focus on YOUR SEXY, believe me - boy will chase you to the ends of the earth.  Study these two article and you'll be fine:
