Rock Gardens - Edging for lawns

Question
Hi
Not sure if you're the right person but I'll give it a try if you will. :)
My driveway is  asphalt - it was newly resurfaced last year. Can belgian block pavers now be installed along the edge of the asphalt driveway?

Answer
Hi and thankyou for your question. The answer to this question is effected by many different factors. If you live in a hot climate, I would say that if you are to disturb the edges of asphalt, you will see cracking, crazing and movement. This, however depends on the depth of asphalt. If you send another question describing your local climate, approximate depth of asphalt, underlying soil, what is currently edging the asphalt. Sorry I can't be more thorough, but if you send the further information I'll do my best to help. Thanks again.
