Answer Hello, and thankyou for your question. It sounds as if you wish to create a feature that relies on other elements than vegetation, almost a sculpture. I'm afraid I cant think of any particularly useful books on the subject. I can offer some tips however. A good thing to remember about rock features is that they are based on natural outcrops/ cliffs, so the creator attempts to produce something which is as close to nature as possible. A good way of ensuring this is to study rock formations and try to copy them. Also you may wish to consider water on the feature to produce a low maintenance alternative to vegetation. I hope this is some help, if you have any further queries please get back in touch.
