Question
hi
i hope you can help me. i have a few dense but small golden cane plants and i want to dig them up and break them up and then replant them. Is this possible and if so what is the best way to do this.  thanks clarissa

Answer
Hi, and thanks for your question. I'm afraid I have no idea what a golden cane plant is. Is it a type of Bamboo or phyllostachys? If it is a bamboo, it is possible to split it and this time of year is the best time to do so. It will grow rapidly and spread, so try not to introduce it too close to any smaller species which you wish to keep. I hope this is of some help and I'm sorry I cant be more specific. If you have any further questions, please dont hesitate to get in touch.
