Question
Hello

Are sugar gliders a pet that likes to be around people?

Are they tamed easily?

How long do they live?

What do they eat?

Can more then one live in the same cage?

How big of a cage is needed for one?

How big do they get?

Answer
Hello,

Sugar Gliders can live from 10 to 15 years if well cared for. They love being around other people because they are very social. Cage must be at least 20 x 20 x 30. I believe they are tamed fairly easily and they can have more than one in the same cage. For food they need A selection of fresh fruits each evening along with a good quality dried cat food. Nuts, cottage cheese, yogurt and insects can also be fed as occasional treats. Adult gliders weigh about 120 - 135g. Hope that helps!
