Subject: chinchillas and ferrets

Question
I all ready have a ferret and want to get a chinchilla. Can they live together in one large cage?

Answer
NO!!!!!! Definately not! Never mix a chinchilla and ferret. They will fight and the ferret will probably kill the chinchilla! They don't live together in the wild and should never be kept together in captivity. Chinchillas are herbivores and ferrets eat meat, ferrets are hunting animals are can easily kill a chinchilla. Hope this helps
