Subject: dagus

Question
my daughter's friend has 2 female dagus she wants to give away   they do bite now   how easy are they to tame?  i know they are born diabetic but what fresh foods do they like?  Thank you for any information

Answer
Really you need to try and handle them in a closed area and let them run around you.  Offer the a small amount of carrot, cabbage, lettuce, un-cooked pasta, brown bread

Degus are usually friendly creatures and enjoy attention so they should be easy to tame depending on how old they are!
