Don't forget that baby mice and squirrels will need help eliminating when they are very young. In the wild, the mothers will lick the area to get the babies to learn how to "go." To simulate this, take a small cotton ball douse it with warm, wet water, and gently rub it over the area until you see the rodent begin to eliminate. This process should be done with each feeding, approx every 4 hours for squirrels and every 2 hours for rats or mice under the age of 1 week old.
