About Brandy
Expertise
I currently have 11 animals in a one bedroom apartment, 9 of which are rodents, I can answer questions about most rodents specifically: Chinchillas, Degus, Ferrets, Guinea Pigs, and hamsters. I can give you advice not only on how to care for them so that they live a long healthy life, but also some money saving tips as well, I know and understand that having a pet rodent is as sometimes alot of work and can be pricey at times, so I will do my best to help in anyway possible. I am not a vet, I know about the diets of the animals but if your animal is having very strange symptoms, I suggest you see a vet, not me.

Experience
I have 4 pet chinchillas, a degu, 2 ferrets, a guinea pig, and a hamster. I love these animals and I know how hard it is to learn how to take care of some of them such as chinchillas. I know what they cannot and what they can eat, and know many of the signs of different potential illnesses.

Education/Credentials
I am currently in college majoring in animal science and minoring in zoology.

Hey,
I have a baby mouse right now and he's been doing really great! I soak bread in water for about 20 seconds and then take it out (don't want it too soggy) and put it in his food bowl. My baby mouse loves that! I put seeds in, too. He's been eating seeds galore. Don't try feeding the poor thing water! Put water in a TINY bowl so he doesn't drown. Put some fruit in the bowl, and for treats cheese. This will come in handy! Also, I forgot. I use soy milk so he won't miss he mom's milk. Regular milk is bad for the mice's tummy. Good luck!
