About Becca
Expertise
I can answer many and most basic questions on chinchilla's. I can tell you what foods are and are not to be fed to them, housing, bedding, and toys...buying or being creative and making your own! I can not answer any medical conditions but will only recomend that you see a vet right away depending on the situation. I am a great person to come to if you are a new owner to 1 of these fabulous rodents!

Experience
My experience in this area is that I have a chinchilla on my own. We have got all the needed supplies for our chinchilla and have done a lot of research before we had got him. I still am doing research every day as to learning new things. its always good to be prepared then not to.

Question
how do you know the  diffrent between a male and female?

Answer
Hello Rebbecca,
Thank you for coming to me for a question.

Figuring out the 'sex' of your guinea pig is quiet simple actually.

Depending on the age of your guinea pig, you might have to look closely.

Male: a male guinea pig will have a small line with a button like shape ubove that line.

Female: a female guinea pig will also have a 'Y' like shape in that area but quiet bigger.

It is hard to give an answer without knowing the age of the quinea pig but i hope my answer has helped you out a bit :)
I have also added a site that you can also check out; it has all about what you need to know about sexing your guinea pig. http://www.guinealynx.com/sexing.html

Hope I gave you the information you need.
Thanks for coming to me to ask a question.
If you need have any other questions at all, you can always come to me.

-Becca
