Question
hi
im kinda at a loss here, i cant find answers on the internet. when can i start handeling my baby mice? i don't want to upset my mummy mouse by doing it too soon. they are 3 days old.
thankyou :-)

Answer
You shouldnt really handle them for a few weeks until they are old enough to look after themselves. Handling too soon may cause mummy to eat or kill her babies especially if she is a first time mum. Try to keep stress to a minimum. Theres no particular rule about when you can handle, each mouse is different and there's no way of knowing how she will react. If in doubt then dont risk it, you dont want to risk the lives of the babies. Good luck
