Hi I am considering some bunnies as pets but am wondering...
can a group live together?
would they have to be spayed/neutered?
If they were going to have to be spayed/neutered would they all get along after I took them one by one to a vet to be spayed? would theybe able to live with each other right after they are spayed/neutered?
What would be the best combantaion males, females, a male & females or males & females?
Also how long do rabbits live on avrage... the ones I would be getting a dwarf crosses, I don't know what there crossed with... also at what age do they become sexualy mature so I know when to get them spayed/neutered?

Yes, a group can work.
It would be best that they be spayed/neutered, especially since you are considering dwarf mixes.
I would recommend getting all males if you want a group. After neutering they would need to be kept separate from teh group for a few days most likely. Dwarf females don't generally get along well with each other.
I can't recall the exact age that they become sexually mature, I would ask my vet about that.

Hello, You mean neutered males can be housed together? I never knew that I thought all males fought, they aren't nutherland dwarf crossses just dwarfs so I don't think they'll be as aggressive and the nutherland's,
how long do they live?
Also would agroup of four adults smell really bad? even if I changed there cage every second day and cleaned there litter area daily?

Answer Yes they can, at least in my experience. I have more problems keeping females together than males. I've noticed that the general rule for rabbits is the smaller they are, the more high strung they are. Not true for all breeds probably but in my experience this holds true.
They would probably live about 5 years
If the cage is cleaned on a consistent basis you shouldn't have any problems with odor. You may have to clean the cages every day though.
