I am writing a book and need to know how many hours of sleep per day mice need. I also need to know which species of mouse is the most commonly used as a pet.

Answer Hi Scott,
Mice sleep whenever they feel they need to sleep. I guess if you wanted to get an average amount of time I suppose you could time their sleeping patterns. I'm afraid I don't know which species of mouse is the most common as a pet.
