Question
Hi
Can you help me out.  My barrel racing horse has had 12 months off due to an injury.  I have now been riding him for a couple of months.  But for the last week when we have been riding him he just either start rearing when either i am walking him around or if i trying to start my barrels.  Or he spins in a circle then starts to rear.
Why is he doing this.  He doesnt seem sore in his back.  His saddle fits him correctly.
He used to run such beautiful drums and now he just doesnt want to run at all.
Is there anything you can suggest that i can try to stop him from doing it, or if you think it is something else
Please help

Answer
Hi, I will try to help, but I can't gaurantee results. Is he rearing for fun, anger, pain, or frustration? Maybe he has to much energy. Check all of his tack, including the bit. Have you been doing barrels for long? Is he rearing every where or only certain places? What are you doing to discourage this, please msg me back and I will be able to help you further
thanks :)
