Question Hi, i'm almost 13 and love to write. The book that I and a friend are currently working on is all about horses, so the answers to these questions would be a huge help. Thanx!
Are there any tricks to roping? (if you are just starting to learn.)
And how does tie down roping work?
Answer there are a few. mainly a lot of practice and having someone that has roped before show you is the easiest way. after getting the basics down, you learn from your own mistakes. tie down roping is where a cowboy ropes a calf jumps off his horse while he is stopping. then he runs down to the calf and tie three legs with a thin rope called a "piggin string". after he has tied the calf he walks back to his horse and gets on. the calf must stayed tied for eight seconds or else he gets a "no time" which is just like if he missed the calf all together. if this didn't help send me another email and i'll do my best to help you.
