About Marianne
Expertise
I have been a Stones` fan since I first heard them. They are my one and only band. My home has been called a "museum" because of the treasure trove of Stones` music, books, Ronnie`s art, little gifts from the band...the list goes on. Ask me anything, and I shall try to find you an answer.

Experience
I have been to 42 Rolling Stones shows and the small "surprise" gigs(RPM,Horseshoe Tavern,Palais Royale Ballroom, the Phoenix Theatre, the Beacon Theatre. ). Also, I was at Keith's CNIB shows in Oshawa and his Wino's shows. I have seen Charlie Watts' jazz band playing live as well. I have been very blessed because I have met all of the Stones..Mick, Keith, Charlie, Ronnie and Bill. They are wonderful guys! Dreams DO come true!

Education/Credentials
B.A. B.Ed. in English Literature and French.
I have been sharing my Rolling Stones expertise with fans, collectors of Stones' items and journalists who require information. I welcome all of your questions.

Question
Its not a particularly exciting question really Marianne, but do you happen to know if mick attended a public school in his youth, namely Eaton ? Its just a little bet my wife has at work, she reckons he did hope you can help, best regards, Barry.

Answer
Hi, Barry how are you? Thank you very much for your question. NO, this is certainly NOT a boring question....you see I'm a TEACHER!!!

To give you the answer, here we go. Mick did not attend Eaton!!! He did attend Dartford Grammar School and then the London School Of Economics (for a brief period of time). Mick had a scholarship to the LSE and he used his scholarship to help pay the rent and buy food for himself, Keith and Brian.

There you have it, Barry. I hope you win your bet. I'm married to a Beatles' fan, so I certainly know how these little questions can become something much larger.

Thanks once again for your question. I certainly hope SOMEONE in your home is pleased with my response!

Cheers, Marianne.
