Question
looking for a movie that is about a young woman who takes over her mother's restaurant after she dies but she doesn't know how to cook, ends up that she becomes a great chef but whatever her emotion is when cooking is the emotion that those that eat it get

Answer
Hi Tara-

I believe you are looking for "Simply Irresistible" (1999) starring Sarah Michelle Geller as Amanda, who inherits her mother's restaurant but lacks her cooking ability. A magical crab helps infuse Amanda's emotions into her food and become a better chef. Tom begins to fall in love with Amanda (and her cooking) but he wonders if she's some kind of witch. Amanda has to find her own magic, to cook for Tom's new restaurant and try to win over his love.

If you are looking for a more dramatic film than this light romantic comedy, you might also enjoy "Like Water for Chocolate", which again has the theme that you can "cook" your emotions into your food.

Happy viewing!
