Question
I saw a movies in the 80's where an English woman went to
one of the desert countries in the Middle East and was
captured by a king or someone like that to become a part of
his harem. She ended up falling in love with a rebel who
was fighting against the king and he rescues her from the
harem. At the end of the movie he rides up on his horse and
ask something like "what do i have to do to make you stay?"
and she says "All you had to do is ask" and they rides off
over the sand dunes.

Answer
Shail-
Great question, I hadn't thought of this movie in years! It was a made for TV mini-series called "Harem" (1986) starring Nancy Travis as the young Englishwoman, Julian Sands as her bland English fiancee, Omar Sharif as the Sultan and Art Malik as the rebel she falls in love with. It aired a few times in the 90's on the Lifetime channel but I can't find any recent airings. It is not available on DVD but you can still find some used copies on VHS tape on sites like Amazon.com. Thanks for bringing back a great movie memory!
Happy Viewing,
Shae
