Question
I saw this movie a long time ago. It was about this piano prodigy who was not living up to his potential but then on the way to a competition somewhere in Italy he meets this blonde free spirited woman who it turns out has some disease that is magically cured by a shrine of some sort in one of the villages. Lead male was a James Spader lookalike. Please help

I'm having no luck finding this movie, can you remember any other details? When you say you saw it a long time ago, can you narrow down when the movie might have been made? Did you see it on TV or at a theater? Anything might help.
