Question
I have notice that all my shingles that are on the "crown" or "spine" of my roof are starting to peal and fail - the roof was installed in 1990 with 35 year shadow grey shingles - the company that installed the roof is no longer in business - who should I contact for them to review this - I tried looking Celotex (the manaufactor) but have nothing located in the US.  If this is a warranty issue who would be willing to help?

Thanks

Answer
I believe Certainteed Corp. owns Celotex - it's your only hope, so to speak.

Expertise

My expertise is with shingle roofs and all types of repairs connected to roof leaks on homes. Typically these leaks are around pipes, skylights, chimneys, and ridge vents. Other various causes of damaged shingles can be addressed as well. I would not attempt to compare manufacturers products or answer any questions other than what I have described above but would direct those to other more qualified technicians.

Experience

I have been involved exclusively with shingle roof applications for 15+ years full-time. I currently operate a roof repair service where all the work is performed by me personally.
