Subject: Flashing around wood stove/furnace pipes

Question
We are planning on re-shingling our roof.  The roof contains 2 vent pipes and 2 stove pipes.  We bought the rubber boots to go over top of the vent pipes which is no issue.  My question is regarding the stove pipes.  They're both currently using a cone shaped flashing with a storm collar on top.  Are we able to reuse the cone flashing or what is your recommendations?  The top of the pipe cannot be reached easily to slide a new one on, this is why we're thinking of reusing it and tar the nail holes, or are we totally out in left field on this one?  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Answer
Hi Greg. I don't fully understand your question as there are products that fit every size of pipe and do not have to be slid over the top of the pipes. If you type "Stove Pipe Collar" on your browser line, all sorts of options appear. 87,300 of them. Here is one:

Hope this helps.
