Subject: modified bitumen overhang

Question
Should there be an overhang over the drip cap as in shingle installation? If so, how much?

Answer
I don't know what you mean by "drip cap".
You ask about a roof and say "as in shingle installation" which means your roof is NOT shingle instalation so what do you have?

Shingles should have a overhang of about an inch all the way around - sides and eaves.

Brad
