Question
My neighbour and myself is planning to redo our roofs together.we live in a semi detached bungalow. The slope i assumes is about 10 to 20 degree. What do u think about the IKO Baltimore 30 yrs shingles, and for the Pig valley(where the two house s joined together)which is the best way in re- doing it.?I have heard about the Torched way or the new way of the adhesive way by just glueing it down. All advice would be highly appreciated.

Answer
I don't know of any problems with Iko shingles.
I never heard of a "pig" valley so I don't know what you have.
I guess by Torched and Adhesive you must be talking about modified roofing. I would go with the torched but it won't last as long as the shingles so do the roof in a way that you can redo the modified in 15-20 years.
