Question I have a deck that goes over a storage area at the back end of my garage that is part of my two story house. When I moved in it was covered with plywood. The area is 5' X 16'. When it rains it drips through the seams into the storage area. I am going to replace the plywood with new. I am planning to put cedar decking over that. What do I need to put over the Plywood to seal and protect it. The deck is of course flat.

If you want the plywood to last and not leak, install it with at least 1/4"per foot to slope to drain away from the house exterior walls. Install a low slope roof membrane over it and integrated into the exterior cladding of your residence. Float a sub frame for the deck on top of the membrane shimmed to level the cedar deck. Provide protection pads for the support structure of the cedar deck where it rests on the roof membrane and don't drive any fasteners through the membrane. Install a gutter at the edge of the roof to catch the drainage. That should about do it.
