I'm a Certified contractor for both CertainTeed and GAF products and We are installing Polaralum Underlayment under a CertainTeed Landmark Impact Resistant roof tomorrow 3/14/13 on a 75 Square roof also in Texas and yes $ 2,200.00 is a good price and yes this is a very good product, it has a ENERGY STAR rating and works very well, its highly reflective and works great to help save energy and lower your energy costs, its also very slip resistant and wont tear even on a very steep roof, I'm installing it on a 12/12 pitched two story home in Mckinney, Texas.  hope this helps you !
