Roses/Wild rose fungus

Question
My wild roses do well by the wall in our patio walkway.  However, one is staying a yellow color and is sparse in leaves.  I've moved it from direct sun back to the wall, which is more in shade, but it stays yellow and thin.  It could be the type of rose it is.  What do you think?

Also, my small wild red roses have a thin white film on them.  They are by the wall also, in partial shade.  There are many flowers, but their red color is dulled by this white film, that looks almost like a powder on them.  Would more sun do the trick?

Thank you much for your kind replies.

its not the sun, roses need lots of sun
its more of what you are not feeding it. You do not mention this. Different varieties are more susceptible to mineral deficiencies then others. I would get some liquid seaweed and feed em that but eventually you will need compost and a good organic fertilizer.
Is it near a lawn? are you feeding your lawn high nitrogen lawn fertilizer? Bad for roses.

It is called powdery mildew. First off it is a mineral deficiency so again it comes to what you are feeding it or rather what you are not feeding it. This is a calcium deficiency so try 1 cup milk in gallon water. Once a week for a month. Also see if it is getting over head watering? Stop using those chemical rose fertilizers as they are bad for every thing and makes it weak.

hope this helps you but feel free to ask if you still need help.
