Question
our 5yo rottie all of a sudden can't walk.he looses his balance and tumbles over.he is almost lifeless.his eyes look ok.he knows us.he just lays there almost never moving.he appears not to be in any pain.and eats very little.

Answer
this is really not a good sign alot of the time you can never tell if a dog is in pain.  Large breed dogs such as rotties can get hip disorders. This will cause the dog not to be able to move.  The dog should be taken to the vet asap to get help if not he will starve because of the pain he will not want to eat anything at all.  And also i know that this needs money but it is for the sake of the dog.

Hope this help
Felicia
