Question
I have an 11 month old male rottie and am having a few problems at the moment he has just finished a 6 wk training course which he has done quite well in! Basically i was wondering when he will grow out of his puppy stage, he doesn't bite, and he doesn't bark without reason, but is very puppy like ie... jumping licking pushing his weight around,he is very friendly and just wants attention and to play but i can't have friends over or if i go out and a friend approaches me he jumps all over them and pulls me! is this normal behavior for his age if not what should i do about it?

Answer
Know that this could be just the his personality.  But if it is just the puppy stage then yes he will grow out of it.  Right now I have a 14 mnth old male Rott who is going through the same thing.  But I have noticed that the older he gets the calmer he gets.

Hope this helps
Thanks Felicia
