Royal Caribbean - my cruise dress code for dining and shows

Expert: Linda - 10/5/2009

Question
on dec 27,2009, we are booked on voyager of the seas new years
cruise. what do we wear on fine dining nights and shows,
nights?

Answer
Hello Robert,

For men on the formal nights (2) usually the first night "at sea" and the last one 2 nights before the end of the cruise.  For men, a dark suit and tie is appropriate, if you want you may also rent a Tux on board.  I've also seen men with those shirts, don't know what they're called that you don't wear a tie, it's a gold button somewhat like a cufflink that is the top button cover.  For the semi formal nights, long sleeve shirt and dress slacks.

Shows are every night and aren't tied to the dress code.  You can go to the shows on casual night in your khaki's and sport shirt or sweater.

for ladies the little black dress is perfect and change accessories.  Also many wear long skirts and sweaters.

You will have a wonderful time Robert.  Enjoy your cruise
