Question
I have a black (they were all black weren't they) Bakelite plaque with King Edward's V111 abdication speech as on the BBC radio to the English nation-its in very good condition except for a couple of minor chips around the rim-any idea of its worth? I do believe these were quite rare I just wondered who they were given or presented to?

Answer
Hello Roger.
Do you mean a vinyl record of Edward VIII's abdication broadcast ? If so they are not worth as much as you might expect. I've seen them for sale for 50 or less. My apologies if I'm wrong, a photo would be best to determine exactly what this object is.
