Running a Restaurant - take-out shop

Expert: Stuart Mullis - 10/27/2009

Question
how many employees do you need for a take-out shop

Answer
Roxanne..

The simple answer is not as many as if you were a seated restaurant

The more complex answer will need many questions answered:
1. What is the menu?, how many items?, it all starts with the menu.
2. Will you cook from scratch or re-heat
3. How many customers will you serve a day? If you do not know, you MUST have a good idea of how many.
4.What hours will you be open and serving?
5. How big is your take out restaurant?
6.New or existing business?
7. What do you anticipate your net profit margin to be?

Answer these and we will have a better picture..

Stuart
