Question This is a question going back to the 1950s. I was a child in elementary school at that time, which was the time when the Cold War was a big concern. We used to have air raid drills in school to practice taking shelter if the Soviet bombers attacked us. Did the Soviet people have the same thing over there? I sure am glad that is over! Be well.
Answer I don't have personal experience about 50 s as I was born in 1969. We used to have military training at elementary school, learning how to put Kalashnikov together, how to do medic first aid, where to go in case of bomb attack, how to use the equipment against gas attack. The children of today don't do those staff thanks God. I am really happy that now we all have understood that we all live on a small planet.
